Exactly two week before Gene passed away, his late uncle Gilbert, grandparents, and aunt Cieclia came to visit him. After that Gene was in great turmoil. He thought when you died, you were gone, nothing else, everything turned black. he didnt believe in life after death. Gilbert visited with him more than the rest. Gilbert tryed to ease Gene's fear. Gene told TJ he was starting to believe in life after death and Jesus. The night Gene passed away Gilbert told him everything would be okay and it was time for him to go home, so Gene and TJ were on there way to the ranch and the accident happen.
